Jered Maddox recorded his second win on the polytrack in the space of eight days when stretching clear inside the final 150 yards for a convincing success at odds of 6/1 in the Dundalk Stadium Gift Vouchers Available Online Handicap.

The eight-year-old gelding has proved a great servant to connections and seven of his nine career wins have been gained at this venue.

David Marnane ’s charge made headway up the centre of the track to lead about a furlong out and kept on strongly under Luke McAteer to beat Pro Bono Alexander by two and a quarter lengths. Senor Carrots was a further three and a half lengths back in third.

McAteer said, "Fair play to David and the team they rolled the dice to run him again, he's in great order.

“He travelled sweet as a nut without travelling strong and when I asked him to go to them a furlong down he shot by them. I was always the winner from there and he seems to be enjoying it.

“He loves something to aim at, a good strong gallop in front of him, and he finished out well.”
