The going at Roscommon is good to yielding (on hurdle track) and soft to heavy (on chase course).

A mainly dry day is expected with a temperature of around 19 degrees.

The National Hunt action gets under way at 5.30pm with a maiden hurdle.

Henry de Bromhead's Gentleman Joe makes his debut over fences in the J.F. Hanley Groundscare Beginners Steeplechase at 7pm.

This five-year-old gelding was last seen winning a novice hurdle at Clonmel in May.
