After a dry night, the Curragh is Yielding to Soft on the round course and Soft, Yielding in places in the straight.
Up to 10mm of rain is forecast before racing and then sunshine and showers are expected in the afternoon. There is a currently a head wind.
Fresh ground is in use on the round course with 10-12 yards of fresh ground on the straight (on the Curragh side).
Stalls are on the stands' side for the opening sprint at 1.30pm.
