Busy horse Comfort Line (15/8f) completed consecutive wins today, as the Ado McGuinness-trained gelding notched a fifth career success in Dundalk's Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Apprentice Handicap (Div II).

Rated 92 at his peak when trained previously by Mick Mulvany, the Dooley Thoroughbreds-owned six-year-old was having his 60th start and his third consecutive Friday appearance at the course, having won last week when rated 58.

Ridden again today by Adam Caffrey, Comfort Line defeated runner-up Nibras Rainbow by a half-length.

McGuinness said "this horse ran in the Lincoln at the start of the year so was a high-class enough horse who was down to a winnable mark. I know he just held on to win the last day but he was far better and had a nicer draw tonight.

"In all fairness, the handicapper gave him a chance and Adam was very good on him and didn't panic.

"I don't think he is entered up next week. We'll see what happens and won't panic."
