Affable (5/1) registered her second win of the week when landing the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap.

Having won over seven furlongs at Roscommon on Tuesday, the daughter of New Approach took the drop to sprint distances in her stride, travelling smoothly behind the leaders and picking up well to hit the front inside the final furlong.

She wasn’t hard pressed to account for Misterio by three quarters of a length, with the 11/4 favourite Mrs Bouquet not getting much luck in running back in third.

The winning 4-year-old was a 10f winner in Britain last year and it was only last month when she finished fourth over an extended 12f in a claimer at Sligo.

Joey Sheridan has struck up a good partnership with winning trainer Ken Condon in recent days and the in-form 5lb claimer commented: “She’s in flying form and fair play to Ken and everyone that looks after her.

“She jumped smart and travelled very well.

"I was able to slipstream them all the way down to the furlong pole, and she did it a shade cosy in the end. She pricks her ears when she gets there.”
