The Tom Brennan Beginners Chase was won by the Philip Rothwell trained Berkerys Treasure with Shane Jackson doing the steering for owners Gerard Berkery.

Jackson went out and made all and was soon clear, he reduced his advantage before 4 out but kept on well to hold off King Ali of Patrick Kellys by 6 lengths.
