The Aidan O'Brien trained Hydrangea made it third time lucky in the Loder European Breeders Fund Fillies Race at the Curragh today, winning well under Seamie Heffernan.

The daughter of Galileo was an unlucky loser, having met trouble in-running, at Galway last week but made no mistake today making all for a two and a quarter lengths win over Madame Cherie

O’Brien later commented “she ran a lovely race in Galway, and has progressed again. I'm delighted with that and she's a very nice filly.

"She will fit in to one of the seven furlong stakes races, and I'd imagine she will run over a mile before the end of the season."

Hydrangea was introduced at 25/1 with Betfair for the 2017 Investec Oaks.
