In-form mare Aodhan May could head to Punchestown, but only if the ground remains testing in Ireland.

The eight-year-old daughter of Vinnie Roe has put together an impressive portfolio of four handicap hurdle victories and a runner-up berth in her last five outings which has seen her mark rise from 82 to 124.

Charles Byrnes said: "If it keeps raining, I will keep going. If it doesn't, I won't. She needs it very testing and it is very unlikely she will get it in Punchestown. It is a week later this year.

"If it keeps raining, I would throw her into something at Punchestown. Otherwise, she will be let off.

"We might let her off and have her ready good and early next year, and get a good season out of her.

"She has a tasty mark over fences (91) to go back to."
