FormscanBy Mark Nunan - IN YOUR SHADOW had a couple of goes in beginners’ chases earlier in the year, and had plenty of horses behind him when second at Leopardstown in March. That was an improvement on his chasing bow at Cork where he jumped left, and that is a concern as he goes back right-handed here, but perhaps he’ll put his experience to good use. Course hurdles winner Aprils Joy is on a roll having followed up on the level at Bellewstown, and this point-to-point winner (related to winning chasers) starts out over racecourse fences as a mare in form. Reuben James had useful form over fences back in 2018 but has a long lay-off to overcome, while dual hurdles and point-to-point winner Holy Motivation and Abbi Shore (didn’t hang around long over hurdles) are a couple worth a look from powerful yards.
