He was an eight length course and distance winner, albeit in a bumper, and made it two from three in bumpers when slamming Montys Meadow by 25 lengths last-time out in Limerick. He has shown a real aptitude for juice in the ground and should relish this test today, on his way to better things. Snow Falcon is a decent opponent. Noel Meade's four-year-old gelding put in a cracking run on debut in the 100,000 euro Goffs Land Rover Bumper at Punchestown when only going down by three parts of a length. He duly scored in Fairyhouse before taking the runner-up spot to the useful Valerian Bridge at Down Royal. After his win in Fairyhouse Meade commented that he wants goodish ground. That would be a nagging concern today as the ground deteriorates all the time. Scorpion Wells opened up a short enough price on his first run at Roscommon in August. He was beaten three and a quarter lengths into fourth, but should show improvement from that outing.
