FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Too many of them would appear to hold claims here to be having a wager with any degree of confidence. Though I wouldn't claim to be any expert on the Cork and Waterford point-to-point scene, THE TOURARD MAN seems to be a solid performer in that sphere. The only time he was seen on the racecourse proper he put in a good effort to be third in a Tipperary bumper and it's hard not to see him there or thereabouts now. Looking through the rest of them, Fence Me In's Joseph O'Reilly fourth placing looks good enough to give him an each-way shout here. Winter Magic is another strong contender for at least a placing and this event could well have been the aim for him for a while now having been off since January. Lonesome Glory would have a squeak on his Tallow win from February and Need To Know is another that can't be discounted.
