FormscanBy Tom Weekes - ABBEY LANE, rated 132, has shown enough on his three chase completions to suggest he will be hard to beat here. He was a useful handicap hurdler and while he has made a few mistakes over fences (fell on debut), should have gained enough chase experience now to help him win in this sort of grade. It is almost three years since Prima Vista last won a race and while he is now a second-season novice, has just 4lbs to find with the selection on ratings. His lack of a run since last November is an obvious worry but he seems versatile ground-wise and represents a yard coming back to form following a poor winter. Starkie has been competing over fences fairly well and while he looks sure to win a beginners' chase in the coming weeks, might struggle to win this. Liberty's Gift, which prefers a sound surface, is best watched on his chase debut while Princeton Plains has been well beaten on three previous chase starts and is also difficult to fancy. Federici is a useful hurdler but looks to have place claims at best here.%0A
