FormscanBy Donal Murphy - I'm inclined to take on Vigil here as he might need the run. The Dermot Weld trained gelding is the clear form choice however he hasn't been seen since finishing fifth in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham in March. The one I'm going to side with is ALTIEPIX who ran out an easy winner of a bumper at Tramore on his last start. That win came just over two weeks ago and he should have a fitness edge on his aforementioned rival. Belshill had to dig deep to win on his racecourse debut at Thurles last month and he will need to improve if he is to feature here. Solatentif was impressive on his debut at Killarney during the summer but he is unproven on heavy ground and it is hard to known what to expect from him. Neatly Put won on his last start at Thurles and he looks to have solid each-way claims while it will come as a surprise if Daisy Spring is good enough to win this on her debut.
