FormscanBy Donal Murphy - BALLYCASEY drops back to two mile one for just the second time in his career and it could prove to be his optimum trip. The Willie Mullins trained grey easily accounted for Mount Colah and Ned Buntline over the distance at Navan last year but he ran over further on his four starts since. He put in a lovely performance to win on his seasonal debut at Gowran last month and he had both Mallowney and Moscow Mannon (both re-oppose) behind him there. Few would begrudge Hidden Cyclone of a victory here after he went down by just three parts of a length in this contest twelve months ago. He is still searching for his first Grade 1 success and he can be expected to give a good account of himself with Andrew McNamara in the saddle. Uxizandre and Simply Ned make the journey across the Irish Sea and the former looks a major contender. The six-year-old won on his last start at Cheltenham and he appears to be going the right way. Bright New Dawn is an interesting runner while Sizing Europe disappointed in this contest twelve ago and it is hard to fancy him after he finished down the field at Clonmel on his last outing.
