FormscanBy Alan Magee - ALIVE ALIVE OH looked a filly out of the top drawer when slamming Magical Dream by six lengths in the Listed Salsabil Stakes at Navan last year. Connections were frustrated by a lack of cut in the ground for a number of subsequent intended targets, and the daughter of Duke Of Marmalade seemed to lose her way last autumn. She’s taken a while to find her form this term but seems to be returning to something like her best recently with a number of promising efforts behind the progressive Carla Bianca including when runner-up here in the Listed Hurry Harriet Stakes. Any rain would help her chance. Odeliz is a strong contender and has shaped well in two previous Irish trips this year, both at the Curragh. She was just touched off by Vote Often in testing ground back in March, and was beaten less than a length behind Mango Diva in a Group 2 over nine furlongs last month. Fellow English raider Regardez failed to stay in the Investec Oaks but subsequently took a Newcastle Listed race in impressive fashion. Brooch followed up her Galway debut win by taking the Listed Vincent O’Brien Ruby Stakes at Killarney last month, and has more scope for improvement than her rivals.
