FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - It's hard not to be a fan of likeable five time victor Usa but he hasn't got involved in four previous visits to Ballybrit and it's probably best to look elsewhere. There's not much to choose between the trio that have official ratings but despite having to give a little bit of weight to them all, as a winner of two, ALELCHI INOIS is taken to trump the lot. As a winner at the likes of Kilbeggan and Tramore, Willie Mullins' charge, unbeaten over the larger obstacles, should enjoy the 'up hill and down dale' nature of Ballybrit. He drops back in trip from his Killarney win last time but he was particularly impressive over two at Tramore even allowing for the disappointing Steps To Freedom being his main opponent. We've had a few winners come back from breaks and pounce at this year's Festival, and those include Henry de Bromhead's Beckwith Star. De Bromhead's Starkie (102 days since he triumphed at Cork) could be Alelchi Inois' biggest danger though all of his wins have been achieved with plenty of dig. Back To Balloo, rated the same as Starkie on 124, looks next best.
