FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Course winner MISTEL HOTELIER has been running very well lately and he could be the one here on his handicap chase debut. Colm Murphy said of him in a recent Irish Field stable tour: "He did it well when he won over fences at Limerick. He deserved that and he has been running well all year. That win should do his confidence the power of good and we'll win what we can with him before we leave him off for a break over the winter. I fancied him then and he handles soft ground as well. He has been settling better on better ground." Last year's winner Sraid Padraig is back again, off a break, and he needs respecting, whilst Byerley Babe also has an engagement here on Sunday. It's interesting to see Rubi Light back in a handicap after he ran okay at Clonmel. His owner, Bill Hennessy said of Rubi Light prior to that run: "He suffered a cocktail of minor setbacks last season which caused a serious interruption to his intended programme. Thankfully, he seems to be back to his very best and we're approaching this season with renewed confidence." Meanwhile perhaps a set of cheek-pieces can help Clonbanan Lad.
