FormscanBy Michael Graham - Hellenistic wouldn't be one of the stars in the Weld stable, but this looks a good opportunity for her as credible rivals are thin on the ground. However THE BUTCHE'S FILLY, with Connor King taking a valuable 5lbs off, looks the each way play. Hellenistic has been placed on two of her three outings and all her runs have been here. She didn't come close to winning though and with 9-12 on her back she doesn't appeal from a betting perspective at short odds. The Butche's Filly works with a weight of 8-9 and her first run back this season saw a major improvement in form as she came in fourth here, beaten a length and three parts in a seven furlong handicap. She ran free there so if she settles better perhaps she can be involved at the business end of a mile tonight. She wasn't sighted in three maidens last year, but it is worth noting that she wasn't disgraced in a race won by My Titania at Leopardstown. She cut out the fractions that day for John Oxx's filly who holds Group 1 entries for this campaign.
