Naas Sun, 24th Mar, 2024  Take Me To Church He's a right little horse. It's nice when a plan comes off and to bring up the hat-trick by winning the Madrid is a great result,. He's a turf horse really and I knew what he did in Dundalk wasn't going to be what he could do on turf but he still won twice. He's progressed with every run and it's a fantastic result. I'd probably be in favour of having a go at the Gladness at the Curragh over seven, all going well. He has lots of options. He did win impressively. You don't mind foregoing their handicap mark when they win a premier handicap in that style and you know you have a black-type horse.

Dundalk Fri, 22nd Mar, 2024  Apache Outlaw It is not easy to win these sprints off that weight. We gave him a break after he won here the last day, and we knew he had improved a good bit through the winter for a little bit of a break. We are thinking we might make an entry for him in Lingfield next week, we are sending a few down there next week. He could be on the way and that track could suit him. We have horses going to Newcastle next week as well.

Thurles Sat, 16th Mar, 2024  Lady Of The Locke She finished third in a schooling race here about ten days ago. We were expecting a good run but naturally we didn’t think we’d beat the favourite. She was bought to do something on the Flat and she handles the ground. Hopefully she’ll jump a hurdle. She might go for a mares’ bumper.

Dundalk Fri, 23rd Feb, 2024  Pascalia She was a filly that always had a bit of ability, but it's just taken her a long time for the penny to drop. We put the cheekpieces on her today and it looked a nice spot for her. Shane said hopefully she'll improve with a bit of racing. She's still a bit starey but we always thought that she would be able to do a job off that low mark. Hopefully she can keep improving and win another one or two for the (Brunabonne) syndicate. They have had great luck with Mashhoor and this is their second horse.

Dundalk Fri, 9th Feb, 2024  Take Me To Church He's a dogged little fella. I just said to Ronan to be positive with him and he will keep finding. When I saw him go off the bridle two and a-half out, I wasn't overly concerned because he's a fighter. He certainly showed that again today and is very willing. You'd say that a crack at a mile should be within his remit. I think Ronan is adamant that he will be a better horse on turf. We'll look forward to the turf with him.

Dundalk Wed, 20th Dec, 2023  Apache Outlaw It is great for the lads and Jim Fairhurst. The Dooleys had a winner last week (Comfort Line). I think this horse will improve, we will have good fun with this horse next year. We stepped him up today and I think seven is better for him than six. Declan rode him in the Phoenix Stakes (Group 1 at Curragh), so he is a classy enough horse. We got him right and he seems to enjoy life now. He'll get a bit of a break and we will bring him back. I think we will have a lot of fun with him next year - he will be a nice premier handicap horse on turf next year.
