Punchestown Mon, 5th Feb, 2024  Mercurey His jumping was very good. He got tight to one down the back, but I wanted to see what he was like on an in-between stride as well. He figured that out well and when you need him, he’s very good. He’s filled into himself for a tall horse. It took him a year after that good four-year-old season but he’s getting there now.

Punchestown Tue, 12th Dec, 2023  Elixir D'ainay Willie had him entered in a chase and I'd presume that's the road he'll go down from here. It's lovely to get him back and that was a lovely race to find for him. We'll be happy now if the wheels stay on. He's a fine big horse and his form was very good around the time he got injured. It's lovely to see him back and credit to all of Willie's team.

Fairyhouse Sun, 3rd Dec, 2023  Petit Secret He was very brave because he was very green going past the winning post first time around. It’s great for Paddy McSweeney and the Shanakiel Racing Syndicate and I think it’s their first runner since Mrs McSweeney died.
