Ballyburn's half-sis makes winning start at Cork
There was a second bumper winner in three days for Emmet Mullins and John Gleeson when Churchfield Sunset justified favouritism at the first time of asking in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF 4-y-o Fillies INH Flat Race in Cork. Sat 11th May
After race at Cork Sat, 11th May, 2024 (1st)
She is a smart filly, has a great attitude and stays well. Her breeding is great and it was important to get that winners' tag on her at the first time of asking,. We have her a few months, she has been very straightforward and has taken it all well with no hiccups. We've mapped out this four-year-old fillies' race for six weeks and while she mightn't be the quickest in the world, she stays well and is one to look forward to. There is no immediate plan but we'll creep away during the summer and might go hurdling when there is more juice in the ground.
