FormscanBy Gary Carson - ANTEY might be another one for Willie Mullins here on his handicap debut over fences. The German-bred was knocking on the door in beginner chases over the winter and was a touch unlucky not to open his account, particularly when unseating in the lead at Fairyhouse. He has also run into a couple of decent sorts and a mark of 136 doesn't look harsh. Team Closutton have three in this and Asterion Forlonge heads the weights. The Grade 1 winning hurdler has been highly tried over fences and has faced the best novices around. He obviously has to be respected but hasn't always convinced with his jumping and might be vulnerable to horses getting chunks of weight. English raider Dostal Phil is an interesting contender. He steps up in trip now after a good placed effort at Aintree and Simon Torrens has done well for owner JP McManus in some decent handicaps this season.
