FormscanBy Gary Carson - The mare SCARLET AND DOVE looks attractive here getting weight off the geldings. She was upsides Colreevy and still travelling well when coming down two from home at Thurles in Grade 2 company on her last outing. Having won impressively at Limerick previously she looks a mare that should do better over fences than hurdles and this is a nice opportunity to land a valuable Grade 3 prize. Epson Du Houx has the top mark in the field, with a rating of 138. He weakened in the closing stages in a competitive handicap contest at Leopardstown last time but, in what wouldn't appear the strongest graded contest, he has to be a leading player. Jack Hackett, who chased home Epson Du Houx at Naas previously, looks to have a tough task trying to turn the tables now giving him weight.
