FormscanBy Mark Nunan - VOLAROSSA had the benefit of Barrier Trial experience when fourth in a hot 6f maiden at Fairyhouse won by Pennine Hills, who was second in a Listed race at Naas on Wednesday. The runner-up in that maiden won next time out at the Curragh and Joseph O’Brien’s filly, beaten less than 5 lengths in total, looks to have a good chance if she handles the drop back in trip to this fast five. Loveday has been given a mark of 90 after being in the first three in all four starts to date, all over the minimum distance. Her best effort was when second in Listed company at the Curragh in May and she looks sure to be thereabouts again. Messa Concertata was fifth on debut behind the smart Prettiest at Navan in May, and that form reads a little better than Fitzante’s fifth at the same track earlier this month. Takana and Money Tree both cost 30,000 Euros at the same breeze-up sale last month and are newcomers to note.
