FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Only a nose separated DRAGONS CALL and Pretty Smart when they were placed behind The Cola Kid at Naas but it was very much a comeback to form for Johnny Feane’s mare and she gets the vote. The 5-year-old, a winner over both 5f and 7f, has been rated in the 80s in the past and might be able to take advantage of her current mark of 64. Three-time winner Pretty Smart should be forgiven her subsequent unplaced effort at Fairyhouse where she encountered traffic problems and is clearly a danger on the basis of that penultimate run, while Florence Thompson caught the eye when not beaten far in fifth under an inexperienced rider in that same Naas contest and is another to consider. The consistent Poet's Pride, still looking for a first win away from all-weather surfaces, has been beaten less than a length on his last two runs on turf and is unlikely to be far away.
