FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Grand National winner Rachael Blackmore resumes her Jockeys' Championship quest with Henry De Bromhead's FANGIO DE VASSY, which pulled up on his latest start, and might win. FANGIO DE VASSY won his point-to-point for Robert Tyner last November and ran well for his new yard in a useful Leopardstown Christmas maiden. Pulled up at Gowran in January when the ground was very testing (just three of the 12 horses completed), he has been freshened up since and will also appreciate today's nicer ground. Mahons Glory meets drier ground for the first time today but has himself shown a useful level of ability. He is vulnerable to more useful types but can be counted upon to run a solid race. Daicheadacuig showed improved form when running well at Cork last month and has sound place claims again on a suitably sound surface today.
A hurdle for five years old and upwards, maidens at startingWeights - 12st Mares allowed 7lbs
