The Curragh are delighted to announce a new partnership that will see the rapidly growing online bookmaker QuinnBet become the Betting Partner of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival taking place from 24th to 26th May.

The Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival is one of the most prestigious weekends in the racing calendar. The top-class programme takes place over three days, the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas being the main feature on Saturday. On Sunday, the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas and Tattersalls Gold Cup take centre stage with both races set to gain increased international exposure as part of the Tote World Pool for the first time. The festival will offer record prize money of just over €2.4 million, ensuring the best horses compete throughout the weekend.

The sponsorship includes title naming of the valuable €100,000 QuinnBet Emerald Mile which features on Friday and the QuinnBet Premier Handicap with total prize money of €50,000 taking place on Sunday.

“We are delighted that QuinnBet has agreed to enhance their association with the Curragh. Their brand will be visible across the three days to include sponsorship of two very competitive races which will ensure maximum exposure for them.” said Curragh Racing and Sponsorship manager Evan Arkwright.

QuinnBet Managing Director Stephen Kelly said: ‘We are delighted to have penned this deal with The Curragh which will see QuinnBet as the Official Betting Partner of the 2024 Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival.

The Curragh is widely regarded as one of the best racecourses in the World and home to Ireland's five most important flat races, two of which will take place over the Guineas Festival and open the curtains on the Irish Summer Classics Season.

It is therefore a huge privilege for QuinnBet to be associated with this event which builds on our ongoing commitment to sponsorship of Irish Racing, that we and our customers are so passionate about”.
