Jockey Jack Foley completed a double at Downpatrick double today, steering his second winner Gelee Blanche in the C Russell Auto Sales Ltd Beginners Chase for Champion Trainer Willie Mullins.

Based with Mullins' brother trainer Tom Mullins, Foley won a half-hour earlier handicap hurdle on the David Christie trained Ask The Leader and doubled his score on Gelee Blanche, which appeared held in third-place jumping the second last fence.

Gelee Blanche stayed on stoutly on the run-in, and edged past leader Clondaw Bertie close home, for a half length win.

It was Foley's third winner for Willie Mullins, each this season, and following the race stated "I was always happy I was getting there. She jumped the last two quite high so it obviously took her a little more time to get going, but she was gutsy and brave and got the job done.

"It was a great round of jumping and she travelled super. The champion trainer's horses are in good form and he filled me with plenty of confidence.

"That's my third double, the others were in Kilbeggan and Punchestown."
