The McCabes Garage Drogheda Mares Maiden Hurdle was won by the Jessie Harrington trained Cabin Point owned by her husband John Harrington and ridden by Andrew Leigh.

Leigh settled his mount in behind the leaders and improved to lead at last and stayed on comfortably to win by 5 lengths holding off nearest rival Mageney trained by Sean Byrne.
