Act Of God is 10lbs higher than when beating the smart Shanroe at Cork last summer which obviously makes matters harder for him, but he has a good record when reappearing after a lay-off and Rachael Blackmore maintains the partnership. Former Galway Hurdle runner-up Due Reward has been badly out of form and blinkers are tried, while a first-time tongue-tie is applied to Clondaw Secret who ran poorly last time but had plenty of subsequent winners behind him when scoring on hurdling debut at Navan.
