Dual Group One winner Integral will stay in training as a five-year-old.

Sir Michael Stoute's filly has landed the Falmouth Stakes and the Sun Chariot at Newmarket this season, as well as the Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot, and was well fancied for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on Champions Day.

But, like a number of horses on Saturday, Integral struggled to handle the extremely demanding conditions, with connections now looking forward to seeing her return to action in 2015.

Chris Richardson, managing director for owners Cheveley Park Stud, said: "She was caught behind a wall of horses and Ryan (Moore) said she was never really at ease on that particular surface.

"She's a filly who is very versatile and can handle most types of ground, but it was obviously very testing on Saturday.

"She was also turning out quite quickly after winning the Sun Chariot Newmarket, so it was perhaps a combination of things.

"Ryan accepted it when it became clear she wasn't going to be involved in the finish as hopefully there is a lot to look forward to next year.

"She's done us proud this season and put us back in the big time, which is great.

"Sir Michael is a master with these sort of fillies and won a Group One with her mother (Echelon) as a five-year-old.

"She (Echelon) improved with age, so hopefully Integral can do the same and emulate her mother by winning another Group One next season."
