Just The Judge will head to California on Thursday to prepare for a tilt at the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf following her victory in Canada.

Charlie Hills' admirable four-year-old filly was her trainer's first Classic winner when taking the Irish 1,000 Guineas in 2013 and supplemented that in the Grade One EP Taylor Stakes at Woodbine on Sunday.

All roads now lead to Santa Anita on Saturday week.

"The plan is for her to ship down to California on Thursday to prepare for the Breeders Cup," the trainer said.

"It's a tight time frame but she seems to be thriving on travelling and we just have to hope the race and the travelling doesn't take too much out of her.

"The team headed by Geoff Snook have done a tremendous job so far, and as one of the most experienced travelling head lads around she's in good hands with him."

Just The Judge bounced back to winning form for the first time this year in fine style, holding off fellow British raider Odeliz by half a length, although Jamie Spencer had briefly looked tight for room in the straight and had to endure a stewards' inquiry before the filly was confirmed the winner.
