Colin Keane will miss Champions Weekend at Leopardstown and the Curragh after he picked up a ten day ban at Wexford this afternoon.

The young rider failed to weigh-in after partnering Unrequited to victory in the third and while the horse was disqualified Keane also picked up the lengthy ban which will commence this day fortnight (Saturday September 13th)

Below is the Stewards Report.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr.W.Fleming, regarding the failure of C.T. Keane, rider of Unrequited, placed, first, to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the Clerk of the Scales and the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Unrequited in accordance with Rule 227(i) and having considered the riders record in this regard, suspended him for ten race days and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee.

Amended result: Coolfighter placed first, Ring Chief placed second, The Fox Tully places third and Flowing Air placed fourth.
