Jim Bolger will consider letting Trading Leather make his seasonal reappearance in the Qatar Bloodstock Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket on May 3.

The Teofilo colt enjoyed a superb three-year-old campaign, with his Irish Derby win supplemented by placed efforts in the Irish 2,000 Guineas, the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes, the Juddmonte International and the Irish Champion Stakes.

Trading Leather is among 19 entries for the Group Two Jockey Club Stakes, which takes place on Qipco 2000 Guineas day, and could make the journey to Newmarket to warm up for a tilt at the Tattersalls Gold Cup on May 25.

Bolger said: "Trading Leather has thrived all winter, he is going very well and showing his usual exuberance on the gallops.

"His first target for the season is the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh, but he could run at Newmarket beforehand.

"Later on in the year we are looking at races like the King George again.

"He has a preference for good ground."

Bolger has also entered Parish Hall, while other contenders include three-times Canadian International winner Joshua Tree, Prix Royal-Oak hero Tac De Boistron and French raider Now We Can, trained by Nicolas Clement.
