Choice And Chance She just wasn't right after Naas but we knew she was back in good form and this was the run we were meant to see in Naas,. She's another two-year-old winner, which is great. She travelled really well but was green as grass and changed her legs about three times. She was looking this way and that. She likes a bit of nice ground and is a proper six furlong filly. We'll see what there is for her now and she might go up in grade.

Zaffy's Pride She’d won a barrier up here and was unlucky here on her official racecourse debut. Then for whatever reason she didn’t seem to act at Navan, she didn’t come down the hill,. I loved the way she hit the line as I thought she was in trouble half way up the straight. Shane said she could come back here for the Listed Star Appeal Stakes in a few weeks.

Deputy Sandy He was good. He definitely benefitted from going to the barrier trial in Dundalk,. I actually ran him there over six furlongs because he's a big baby. Whether he'll run again this year, I don't know. He likes that quick ground and he got the seven well. We'll see where we go with him. Mr Zhang has got him and he's got Ace Aussie and Lucky Vega. They are nice colts and it's nice to have them.

Cayenne Pepper That's the real Cayenne Pepper, I don't know what we were doing going a mile-and-a-half with her!. Shane said the way she won there you'd think she'd get a mile-and-a-half no problem but she just doesn't quite see it out. We had a lot of problems with her in the spring and I thought today was the first day she actually looked strong in the paddock. She didn't grow last year and did all her growing in the spring and we had problem after problem. It's sad that Jon Kelly wasn't around to see her but he'll be up there looking down on her. He passed away a week after the Oaks. It's lovely for her to win but it's a bit emotional. We might go to America with her for Sarah to see her, providing everything is okay. She is invited to the QE II in Keeneland three weeks prior to the Breeders Cup so she could go there and then stay over for the Breeders Cup. We'll let the dust settle and see how she is this week.

Cadillac You'd have to be delighted with him. You saw the real Cadillac there today and he's a lovely horse. He's a horse that just goes through the motions at home, you don't really know how big an engine is in there but it's fairly big. He didn't really learn much the first day but learned a lot the last day, and he did it right there today. It's great for the syndicate, which we started two years ago and this is the second running of it. We're going to go forward with it next year and it's great to have a high-profile horse like this. I'd say all being well his next start will probably be in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.

Ace Aussie He’s a gorgeous horse. He has a massive frame and, like the last filly (Loch Lein), whatever he does this year he’s going to be even better next year. He’s got entries in Royal Lodge and the Beresford, and if he comes out of this okay he’ll go to one of them, but it will be just one more run this year and then we’ll put him away for next year. After he ran he grew on us and we just gave him a break to let him furnish off a bit more. And we had the other horse (Phoenix winner Lucky Vega) and he was in no rush with him. Loch Lein she is a lovely filly and we've always thought a lot of her. She has a massive frame and is thriving on her racing. She has entries in the (Group 1) Cheveley Park (at Newmarket) and there's a race at Fairyhouse (Ballyhane Blenheim Stakes) for her but we'll let mum decide and whatever she does this year, she'll be a better filly next year. Shane said she hated the soft ground the last day and I was worried about the ground being too quick today but she handled it really well.
