Limerick Thu, 11th Apr, 2024  Aodhan May She wins again! Only for it keeping raining she wouldn't have won and obviously the jump at the last helped. There needs to be 'heavy' in the going description for her and Philip (Byrnes, jockey) said after riding in the first race that it wasn't soft enough - but then it started raining again. We ran her in the summer initially and got handicapped on the wrong ground, but paid the price as she broke down. This is grand though and we'll keep her chase mark until next season.

Cork Sun, 31st Mar, 2024  Summer Tide It was a bit of a surprise as I didn't think he was up to that as there were a few fair horses in it but I'm delighted for the young fella after getting a fall in the previous race. He had a good run behind Desertmore House in a beginners' chase last year at Kilbeggan and the (heavy) ground made up for today's lesser distance. We were struggling to win a race so I'm delighted to win. A win is a win and his mark over hurdles might now be more favourable after that. there was a chance Maidenstreetprince would have finished second (to Sir Gerhard) and he is ok after his fall.
