Duffle Coat He's a brother to a good horse (Starchitect) but he's never even been on grass and that's the first time he's ever worked properly,. We got a few of them in a bit of a package deal. He was just hacking away, he wasn't showing us much so we said we'd run him just to see where we were and to start him off. He looked good, he travelled into it well. He has to be a smart horse because he has nothing done. Keith said he'll improve a stone from it, he said he was very green.

Trueba That's great for Nikita. I thought it was an ideal race as he probably didn't get home over a mile the last day. A stiff six or an easy seven if probably ideal. We have him there for Nikita now as he doesn't seem to go for any of the rest of the lads. She rides him out most days and told me he was flying. He had a good draw and it just worked well. He's always been a horse that worked well, he's rated 66 now and he'll be there for her until the end of the year. Hopefully she can get another winner on him. She works very hard and wants to be a jockey. It's tough for the girls here, but she's doing a good job with the opportunities she's getting, she probably doesn't get enough.

Comfort Line Leigh (Roche) felt he didn't get home the last day and I think he will get ten furlongs eventually as he is still maturing. He'll go to Galway for a 3yo handicap next. The family only get better with age and I hope he will develop into the horse I think he is.

Ally Cay I’m delighted for the owner who gave her to me to have a go with. I’ve had her about eight or ten weeks, not long enough to ruin her, and she’s been absolutely straightforward for us. She’d worked well and my only doubt was whether she would do on the track as she does at home. It probably wasn’t the greatest of races but a win is a win. She can jump hurdles as well.
