Atlantic Shore he’ll probably come back here for the National Trial next month. Whether he’s good enough for that is another thing but he’s a grand horse. He’s a big slow horse and that ground plays to his strengths.

Torygraph he’s done it well and jumped great. I didn’t realise how far clear I was but he’s a lazy sort of a horse. I was just trying to keep the momentum going on him. He loves that ground.

Carrolls Cottage I was pleased to see the other horse (Willie Mullins' overnight favoruite Rambranlt'jac) come out but I think he has some sort of future,. We are not going to go any place fancy with him for the time being and we'll see what sort of rating he gets for those rated novices or he could go for a winners' of one. Jumping fences down the road will suit him too. He is owned by Mike Neville who is locally based in Castleconnell.

Boher Cailin I'm delighted with her and Ian Power (handler) has done nearly all the work with her. She won her point-to-point well, she has won that well and she is a nice mare. Martin (Keating, owner) wants to sell her and she couldn't do any more than she did there and is a lovely mare. She'll improve plenty for the run, it was super by Rachael and I'm delighted to get it for Martin.

Atlantic Shore He should have some sort of future over fences. I was happy with his run in Limerick and the conditions of the race today, for horses that hadn't won over hurdles, were right up his alley. Let's hope he can stay progressing. I'd say he will go into handicap company now. He didn't mind the ground today because he is a bit sluggish. He gallops, he stays and he jumps. We got him on a good day today because some days he can be a bit moody. We had a four-year-old winner at Dromahane too. A horse by Mahler who had one run in the spring and was fourth. We were probably going to run him a few weeks later but then the lockdown happened. He is a horse with a bright future and I think he will go to the sales if they take place.

Trickey Trix That's three times we've ridden her like that and she seems to enjoy herself in front and is game out. Danny said she keeps finding and finding. She can be a little bit tricky and stood at the start on her only chase run but is honest and will go back chasing at some stage. We'll look for something similar next. She is owned by Pat Macken, a retired butcher from Dunboyne.

The Diary Keeper She won a bumper in Killarney a few years ago and it took her a while to get the knack of hurdling and to relax. She relaxed and hurdled today and it gave her a chance. She previously had leg trouble but has her bumper and hurdle won now so will make a broodmare in time. She's not finished racing yet and she is in again at Thurles on Thursday; she is very ground dependent and won't go on soft ground so we'll see how she is. That's Gavin's first winner for me.

Brace Yourself He promised to be a good horse one time and hopefully he'll get back there,. He had a little bit of an issue with a hind leg which held him up. Last season was a bit of a non event as nothing went right for him. He seemed to like that goodish ground, he's a Mahler and a lot of them do. Two-and-a-half miles is his minimum. We jumped when he needed him, when he sent him down he jumped, so that was good.

Memory Tree He was the highest rated in the race so I'll have to agree with the handicapper now as I wasn't happy with him a couple of runs ago,. I think the flat track suited him and he jumped great. He probably didn't handle Tramore looking back at it but it is a local track and I tend to go there. If there was a rated novice he would run in one. I don't think he'd compete in handicaps. He could also be sold so we'll see.
