Neyland She's run a lot of good races and we always thought this place would suit her,. Her wind is not ideal and she wears a tongue-tie which helps her a bit. A lot of times she's run this year the ground has been just slower than ideal, good ground that changed on the day. If you can get her to relax it gives her a chance to breathe better and that trip is ideal for her. I'm delighted she's won as she has a nice page.

Alex D It is job done as he picked up a Tattersalls Book One bonus for winning today,. We probably started him off sooner than we should have as he is very immature and we gelded him. He has a high rating for obvious reasons and got very lonely out there in front on testing ground today. It is not nice ground. He was the best horse in the race and we said we'd treat him like the best horse in the race and he kept it simple from a wide draw. He was gassy after his run the last day and has come on from that. That could be it for the year because that will take it out of him and the spring won't be long coming around either.

Alarm Call Colin (Keane) was very happy with her. She's very straight-forward, he said she got two lengths out of the gates, and she was very professional. She's come on a ton from her run at Naas as everybody could see she would do from there. She's handled this ground, being by Oasis Dream, and she handled the downhill. Colin said she took a blow so there is a bit of improvement left. We'll see how she comes out of this and see if there is a winners race or something black-type. It's not all about this year though but if she tells us she still wants to go, and there is something, we'll find something for her. She was a late developer so it's all about next year and I think she is smart. The second horse had plenty of experience and there were a couple of horses in it that their trainers liked, so I think there was a bit of depth in the race. Shane Lyons, representing
