Mr Hendricks He won a point to point last year and he is a very big horse who I have given all the time he can get. He'll be better over three miles and is really only a baby for what he is,. He was bought as a three mile chaser and I'm delighted as his owner (David Scott) sadly is in hospital. He also has Neverrushacon and Got Trumped with me and this will give him a lift. I'll look for any three mile hurdle with this horse next. I don't know how good he is but he'll stay going.

Roaring Bull I feel sorry for Paul Nolan (trainer of Fitzhenry) who is a very good friend of mine. I was watching the race out on the track with Paul and I was cheering his horse on because I thought I was gone.

Mount Pelier It is unfortunate but they (IHRB) are going to have the next trainers' course in the spring. I think it is the first time ever that they didn't have more than one course in the year. One was held last spring but the autumn course was cancelled as a minimum of ten people was required to hold the course. we expected that as these were only summer horses and he is a proper winter horse. He had been to a schooling hurdle in Tipperary and ran well there and is improving all the time. He is class (to jump) and loves jumping. He was getting all the allowances there so you wouldn't want to get carried away, but he is worth an entry in the Craddockstown Chase, over two miles, and the 2m4f Florida Pearl Chase. If he is not good enough we can drop him back down again but I couldn't have been happier there. Kevin Brouder has been riding for us but is injured at the moment and we're been using best available at the moment and Davy (Russell) is one of four riders we're using today.

Stylish Moment He is a grand oul horse and he won well the last day and we thought he'd come on a bit,. Everlastingpromise (runner-up) missed the last and we winged it and it was probably the winning of the race and he is probably a galloper and Philip said he'd use him up turning in instead of getting caught for toe, so he gave him a great ride and that's his third winner for us in the last ten days. It was his first run in a handicap chase and he is rated 104 over hurdles so that's something we'd have to look at. He wouldn't want really deep ground but likes it yielding or soft.

Lakemilan She had been so consistent all year, was in good form and keeps improving and is an amazing filly in fairness to her, . There is nothing of her there but she keeps improving, keeps eating and holding herself together. I wasn't sure when the fall-off would happen but it hasn't happened yet and that was an improvement again. Today was the target for a good while so I'm not sure where we go but she is going to be a 135 mare now. I was thrilled with Articulum but I didn't think he travelled great throughout the race. I told Phillip (Enright)not to be hard on him as it was his first run back and from a long way out he wasn't going to win the race. I trying to watch both horses with a couple of kids hanging off me as well so it was hard enough to watch but Articulum seemed to see it out well for a first run back and also in a handicap. He is very well handicapped over hurdles and I'm tempted to go for a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse next. I'm also half-tempted to go to Cheltenham in November too but I'm not sure.
