Roseys Hollow She did that nicely so it's great to step up again today. I couldn't be happier,. It looked to be a very strong field. Today was the plan and we'll take one day at a time, I'll have a chat with Frank (Berry, racing manager) and see what they put together. You'd be always hoping to have one like that. That's my third Grade 3 win with a mare and my third runner in a Grade 3. Minutestomidnight won the mares bumper at Punchestown and Barnahash Rose won the Shannon Spray Hurdle in Limerick.

Weihnachts That's great. He's been a little bit unlucky for me. He was second in a couple of maiden hurdles and his hurdle rating was a bit too high, he just wasn't going to win off it so we went back over fences. He got brought down in Ballinrobe and two-and-a-half in Clonmel was a bit far for him. The real heavy ground was catching him out and Simon said it didn't feel too bad out there today. I think the ground is the secret with him. I'm delighted and it's great to get a winner. I'll have to speak to Frank (Berry, racing manager) but I'd imagine he would go for a two mile novice handicap at Gowran Park in two weeks time.

Roseys Hollow It was very good and it's great to get it. It's great for JP and his family in tragic times. I pass on my deepest sympathies to them. She jumped well, travelled, did everything well and Mark was happy. We'll get over today and I'll have a chat with Frank (Berry). He'll talk to JP and see what the plan is. She's a nice mare.

Minella Escape he was a little bit unlucky the first day - he was off for a bit before Navan and I wonder did that just catch him out. He is a lovely horse, he won his point-to-point well and the way he jumped there you'd be looking forward to a fence with him in time. I'm really happy with him and I'm delighted for the Halsalls (owners).

Minella Indo I'm delighted with that. He did everything good, it was a lovely race for him and I'm glad we've got it behind us now. You couldn't have asked him to do it any better. He jumped really well and did everything he had to do. I would imagine we'll aim towards the Savills Chase at Christmas, I think that will be our next one. He's had two nice races for second-season novices and now we have to go against the big lads and see how we fare there.

Hopefully Eventually she got there. She put in a nice run down in Listowel but it has taken her a long time to come right and get handicapped and get her jumping together. She put it all together today and the cheek-pieces just helped her. We went three miles with her before and we came back from that, so two and a half to two mile five seems to be her optimum trip at the moment. She'll mature and get stronger and probably stay further in time. She is probably not going to be a winter mare but we will probably have next summer with her.

Mt Leinster His form got a great boost in the Cesarewitch. I thought a mark of 97 was harsh but the handicapper is usually right to be fair to him. This fellow has schooled over fences and he’s very good so I’d imagine that is going to be on the cards for him. I was able to twist Willie’s arm and get him to run here rather than the Cesarewitch.
