Oisin Murphy, the rider of Queen Of The Sea (IRE) was unseated shortly after the start.
Murphy was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that Queen Of The Sea (IRE) had jumped right-handed when coming out of the stalls, bumping the winner, Buriram (IRE) which caused the saddle to slip on Queen Of The Sea (IRE) and Murphy to become unbalanced and subsequently be unseated from his mount.
The filly was therefore deemed to be a runner.
After the first 2 furlongs, a free running GREY D’ARS (FR), unplaced, clipped heels of the in front and stumbled, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Lord Halifax (IRE), unplaced, had made a noise when pulling up after the finish.
