An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Hen (IRE) which pulled itself up shortly after jumping the second fence and refused to race thereafter.
Max Young was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the filly had also been unruly wHen refusing to race at Uttoxeter on 16 July 2020, Young was informed that any future similar behaviour from Hen (IRE) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
The performance of Going Mobile (IRE), which started second-favourite and was pulled up, was considered.
It was noted that Sam England could offer no explanation for gelding’s performance and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Going Mobile (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Jack Quinlan reported that Phoebus Lescribaa (FR), placed fourth, hung left- handed.
