An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the home straight when Miss Havana (GB), placed third, ridden by Georgia Dobie, interfered with Iley Boy (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Cieren Fallon, which in turn interfered with Estibdaad (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Tom Marquand.
Being 7lb claiming apprentices, Dobie and Fallon were offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Dobie was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she had allowed her mount to roll left-handed when not sufficiently clear causing Fallon to take a check and switch off heels and which left Estibdaad (IRE), which was weakening, short of room against the rail.
Approaching the final furlong, Miss Havana (GB), placed third, lugged quickly right-handed before being corrected, taking Kenoughty (FR), placed seventh, off its intended line.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Miss Havana (GB).
Georgia Dobie, the rider of Miss Havana (GB), placed third, was suspended for 2 days for using her whip above the permitted level from approaching the final two furlongs.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Dobie was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry, but declined.
Following the race, John Egan reported that Al Daayen (FR), placed fourth, ran too free and hung left- handed.
