FormscanBy Michael Graham - Competitive stuff. DARKEST was a comfortable winner of a fillies' maiden in Limerick and there may be more to come from her off a mark of 73. Ramiro has to rate a threat after winning on his first start for Ian O'Connor in the Curragh. Gearoid Brouder's 7lb claim more than offsets the 5lb he got for that success. Mean Fomhair has been running well but has a horror draw. Tresorier led home Beckwith Place and Galtee Mist by a head and a neck at the Curragh so the trio, who all have claims, are closely matched. Improving has finished runner-up three times in a row so wouldn't be winning out of turn. Dragon Of Malta won very nicely in Limerick but is likely to need to find improvement after being hit with an 11lb hike in the weights.
