FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Dual hurdles winner (once at this track) PENNY OUT can make a winning handicap debut on the Flat. She ran a couple of nice races in maidens here last month when not having the clearest of runs, and the gaps should be easier to find in the closing stages of this stamina test. Winning hurdler and chaser A Place Apart stays very well and 1m4f was probably too short for him when third at Leopardstown, while the sharp track at Bellewstown may not have suited Lalipour and he’s better judged on his win at Navan (third home Allora Yeats has won twice since). Give Battle was a very consistent handicap hurdler last summer, and was a fair fourth to Allora Yeats over 1m6f at Bellewstown.
