FormscanBy Tom Weekes - CEDARWOOD ROAD was a Listed hurdle winner last March and can get off the mark over fences here. Clearly a capable type, CEDARWOOD ROAD disappointed on chase debut in November but ran a very solid race when chasing home a high class type at Leopardstown over Christmas. He has jumped a fraction left on occasions (mostly on chase debut), which is a negative on this right-handed circuit, but has the ability to win at this suitable trip. Antey is a second-season novice chaser but chased home a now-140 rated horse over two miles here in January. He might lack a gear to beat the selection but should still give him a real race. Madison To Monroe is interesting on fences debut being a chasing type, and has place claims while Et Dite has a place chance and while limited enough in ability, is proven at this trip and on heavy ground. Momus failed to win in 13 hurdle starts and makes his chase.
