FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Owners Robcour had their first Grade One winner when Bob Olinger scored at Naas on Wednesday and they have two in here, TEAHUPOO and Merry Poppins. For Gordon Elliott and Robbie Power Teahupoo could be worth chancing, after his win at Auteuil in October. There’s little doubt that the Masked Marvel gelding cost a pretty penny out of that contest, and the two immediately behind him then have won since. Good Ball, the runner-up on that occasion, struck at the first time of asking for Paul Nicholls at Newbury recently. Teahupoo’s win came over two and a quarter miles on heavy ground so it won’t surprise if he has plenty of use made of him here. Josh D’id won at Saint-Brieuc in November and is another fascinating contender. He, like the selection, is Grade One entered. Youmdor is obviously a huge player after his very impressive Gowran win. Arguments for others having place chances are easily made.
