FormscanBy Michael Graham - There should be more races to be won with Angel Palanas. He was in rude health for Pat Murphy and has switched to Leanne Breen. Luke McAteer gets on well with him but the pair have been winning over seven furlongs, so preference is for MERCHANT OF VENICE. This five-year-old gelding won three times in Britain (all over a mile) for James Fanshawe and there was a lot to like about his staying-on second over seven furlongs on Irish debut for Ado McGuinness last month. The winner has since followed up, so the form looks good. Reverberation has had a good year with three victories banked. He avails of Sam Ewing's claim and has a chance. Juyush was a ready winner, in a lower grade, over course and distance but this is tougher and he is up 9lbs in the weights, so improvement will be required.
