FormscanBy Mark Nunan - BALLINLOUGH GALE ran well when chasing home the 84-rated Salsa at Thurles last time and can go one better with Colin Keane taking the ride for the first time. He’s only run on easy ground so far, but most of Pat Martin’s horses handle this surface so he should be able to transfer his form to the all-weather. Nawafeth has been travelling well before not really seeing out her races, but on ratings has every chance and she ran well on quick ground at Cork three starts back so might even improve for racing on this surface. Kushkame was second on debut here in March but that form hasn’t worked out at all. No doubt Damien English will place Stately Home to advantage before long but the Clodovil gelding might need this first run since going close at Lingfield last winter, while Freepark is related to a couple of useful jumpers and is respected coming from a powerful yard in an ordinary maiden.
